Hey guys, Joe on the Tornado. Hey, we had a pretty good trip there last trip. Ray told you all about it. A lot of chances, and unfortunately, we missed them. We think we were hooking those things in bull kelp, and they take you right to the bottom. Anyway, a lot of seabass out there, and they did their typical thing with the seabass. They made their circles, and every time they'd come through, we'd hook one. A lot of shorts out there also, which to me, I like to see that. Shows that we're gonna have some fish there later on.

We picked a few halibut, one legal, and the rest were just a little bit short. So overall, pretty fair fishing at the island. Ray has the latest fish report for you below.

Joe checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Late report from last weekend, but, wow, we had a great trip. We expected to have weather, and we did, and it was beautiful. So, we ended up with flat calm ocean all the way out at the outside of Nick, and lots, lots of nice quality fish. Some of those spots were straight reds, and, of course, you know, you get two each, and you got to get away from there, but big quality reds. Jackpot fish, we decided to go in shallow and take a look, and Ray put us on some sheephead, and the jackpot fish was a nice big fat sheephead. Anyway, it was good fishing all around Joe has the current fish report for you below.

This Friday night we have a two-day trip, fishing Saturday and Sunday, including meals, 450 bucks. I don't think you can beat that anywhere.

Joe checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. What a great day yesterday. On the way out it was a little bumpy, but boy, by 8 or 9 in the morning, it was like a bathtub, and it was just beautiful. San Nic really produced for us. Some of the best quality reds I have ever seen, and it was just nonstop. Our first spot, we took care of our limits of reds and chucklehead. It was just amazing fishing. Then the rest of the day, we spent filling it out with whitefish and other rockfish. We had a great group of people and it was a lot of fun.  Joe has the latest fish report for you below.

We have a couple of trips coming up that I'd like to keep in your mind. One trip is sponsored by Mission Fish. It's a 2-Day trip departing August 3rd, and the price is $695. The reason it is priced that way, is because the night we get in, we're loading it up with wounded warriors at no costs to the wounded warriors that are going fishing. So it is a little extra on that Mission Fish sponsored 2-Day trip, but you'll be helping support a wounded warrior, and we are really looking forward to taking these guys out on the 5th. It was terrible weather. I'm sure nobody was out there. Anyway, we're out tonight. We got a one-day charter and it's sponsored by KJ and Magnum Bakes. We're going out looking for the sea bass and squid and so on. Anyway, we're real excited about going out. I do have one room, a spot for one person on tonight. Opening day of rockcod this year is on a Tuesday, so Monday will be the last day of March, and we're leaving Monday night fishing Tuesday. That will be rockcod opener and dinner special Price so we can get everybody out there, start off the new year right, $195, and we're probably heading to Nicholas, weather permitting. Been sitting in the garage now for a good part of the year, need to make sure you got fresh line.

Then the following night we come back in Tuesday night, we're going right back out Wednesday night, same Price, $195, see if we can't pick up some yellowtail and seabass there along the shore at the island, and later on go on out to the deeper water for the rockcod.

August 3rd, leaving August the 3rd, the 4th and 5th, that's a two-day trip, and that's sponsored by Brian Barber of Mission Fish, the guys at Mission Fish, and what we're doing is, it's going to be a combination of that trip, we up the Price to $695, and that will include meals, but it will also include, when we get back in that night, we're going to take a vet, a wounded warrior out. So what excess you spend on that two-day trip, go in for a good cause, go to those guys that put their lives on the line for us. August 3rd, leaving the 3rd, 4th, and 5th, fishing the 4th and 5th, meals are included, $695, and again, remember that it's also going to buy a ticket for free for a wounded warrior. And last year, the guys got behind it, Fuel Docks gave us fuel, Smart Final bought the groceries, the bait gave us bait, the landing didn't charge us, so it's a worthwhile deal there guys, if you can. August 3rd, leaving, fishing the 4th and 5th, $695, and the remainder of that goes to help write off the group of wounded warriors.
